Here at Wood Learn Forest School we like to keep busy, so there is always lots of good stuff going on. We don't generally advertise it because we find that word of mouth is the best type of advertising we can get. Our reputation is our recommendation.
Most of our time from Monday to Friday is spent at schools delivering Forest School programmes and bushcraft afterschool clubs. We also work with the Island's home education community.
At weekends we spend our time in the forest or on the beach helping people celebrate their birthdays and other special occasions with our ever popular parties or seasonal events.
Other than this we occasionally deliver one off events which are open to the general public. To see what we're up to, and what we have coming up, follow us on Facebook or Instagram. We primarily work out of the local public forests, where we are licenced for education and leisure use and to have fires.
Our accessible venue:
As we take equal opportunity and 'quality forest school for all' so seriously we have developed a fully accessible forest school site in association with our friends at Mencap IOW and Medina House School.
